Quern. Part of a rotary quern adopted from the realms of classical civilization via the Celts. In its entirely the quern consisted of two stones: the lower one being fixed and the upper one rotational. The lower stone is displayed here, Sławsko Wielkie (3rd-4th century AD) Żarno. Jest to element żaren rotacyjnych przejętych z kręgu cywilizacji antycznej za pośrednictwem Celtów. Zestaw składał się z dwóch kamieni: dolnego (nieruchomego) i górnego (obrotowego). Na wystawie część dolna, Sławsko Wielkie (III-IV w. n.e.) |
